Hello and welcome back to The Fitness Truth blog. Hope you are having a good weekend so far.
In this post I’ll talk about no matter how busy you are, you STILL have no excuse for not
incorporating exercise into your daily life!
Seriously, tell me honestly. How busy can you get? i understand that you do have to stay
in the office till late and you do have to travel a lot. And you’re not sleeping well… And you’re too tired…. and you have no energy. And no time. No motivation.
Well, who deosn’t have these problems?
Now let me ask you a question, do you think you’re as busy as the candidates for the 2008
US Presidential Elections? Who am I talking about? Basically they are polticians like
Senator Barack Obama and Senator Hillary Clinton.
Politicians have very hectic schedules and they are always stressed with all the responsibilities they’d have to shoulder. In fact, we can safely say they are one of the most stressful categories of people due to being public figures.
Check this video out:
As you can see, exercise helps us with sleep deprivation, stress and a whole myriad of other health problems. The politicians you see in the video makes time and takes the effort to include exercise so i don’t see the reason why you should not. Can you proof that you’re busier, more stressed and pressed for time than politicians?
I bet the answer is NO.
You see, politicians are intelligent people and they understand what health and being fit can do for them. it does wonders. Just go to Google and search “health benefits of exercise” and you’ll see a plethora of articles proving the good things that occurs in your body (and mental health) when you keep physically active.
The answer is clear. Just commit to some time off, even if it’s 15 minutes a day. If you haven’t been exercising, I understand that it can be a bit intimidating. Just start with walking. And then you progress with fast walks. And then slow jogs. And so on and so forth.
You see, a little goes a long way.
Once you are more motivated to start exercising, you can ‘upgrade’ to resistance training. In fact, once you’re comfortable with it, resistance training should be the basis of all you workout sessions. If you try hard enough to fit 30 minutes of thrice weekly exercise, you will start to see positive results in terms of fitness, health and how your physique improves.
So start today! Start NOW! Not tomorrow because you are just procrastinating again. Don’t
lie to yourself and don’t sweep your problems under the carpet.
I hope in my next blog post, you have already embarked on your exercise journey. Good
luck and hope to hear good news from you soon!
(On a side note, do ignore the video at the 1:54 minute mark. No doubt cayenne and curry
have health properties but it doesn’t mean that can replace exercising for fitness.)

I always find time to work out. I’m in the gym at least three times a week. If I’m on the road I’ll hit the hotel gym, take a job around the neighborhood, or do a routine in the confines of my room.
As for stress… Politicians sign up for that so they have to learn to deal with the extra.
Stay healthy. Live longer.
